These Dallas engagement portraits were so much fun! This urban Dallas rooftop engagement session with Cheng and Bobby was just right for this couple. While I don’t spend a ton of time on top parking garages for portraits, I should really reconsider revising this in my life. I just loved the juxtapositioning of this couple against the giant buildings in Downtown Dallas.
We started off in the clouds for these Dallas engagement portraits and made our way down to the stroll and dance in the streets of West End. I’ve lived in Dallas most of my life and that is where my photography career started too. I love that the city is versatile and I can find things to make my client’s engagement portraits special to them and keep things fresh and unique. Cheng mentioned wanting to have the Dallas skyline as a backdrop and I knew the perfect spot! It was certainly a party. You’d never know but we were one of about 6 other photo shoots happening at the same time. We talked about how they met, what they enjoy doing together as a couple and even exchanged some Instant Pot tips. Just every day portrait conversations around here. That’s how we do. A little posing, hair zhuzhing, leg popping and lots of fun conversations.
They are set to marry this fall among the clouds at The Tower Club and I could not be more thrilled to photograph their Dallas wedding.
Wishing you all many years of love and laughter and may each day be better than the last!
