McKinney Cotton Mill Wedding of Ashley and Aaron

Sometimes Plan C is the perfect plan all along. Ashley and Aaron got married at  The McKinney Cotton Mill and had planned a beautiful outdoor ceremony with the help of the ever-so-fabulous, Wendy Kidd with Each and Every Detail and their amazing team of wedding professionals. I photographed their engagement session with their pup Ollie, who sadly was not in attendance at the wedding, (one of my favorite engagement portraits is in that session … I’d love it if you checked it out!) almost exactly one year prior to their wedding and we had one of the coldest days in Dallas for that. We thought, CERTAINLY Texas got that out of her system for weather hiccups for this couple. On the contrary…. North Texas was very generous with the temperature for their wedding day, but rain boots and beautiful cloud diffused light were in store for this couple’s special day. I arrived with Ashley and her ladies at The Grand Hotel in McKinney to find a room full of beautiful women all preparing for the day. Wendy Zerrudo was on hand to fabulize the gal’s faces. I’m not sure that’s a word, but I’m rolling with it…fabulize! The stationary was all done by the mega-talented bride, Ashley. She’s a fantastic artist and commissioned quite a bit for the wedding. The floral was by Holly Viles and she never ceases to amaze me with her beautiful craftsmanship on every event I work with her. Enough words … lets look at pretty pictures!
