Its July in Dallas. The weather is crossing the 100’s threshold and all these couples look flawless in their engagement photos. I’d say that Katie and Kevin definitely made it a little hotter that day during their Dallas engagement photos. We started their engagement session at the Bishop Arts District and made our way around South Dallas to some of my favorite hidden gems. Their fun spirit and energy made this portrait session so great. They had lots of laughs and sweet embraces. We even paid homage to the great Wes Anderson. After we chased the sun until there was no sun left, we found a great parking lot to wrap their portraits. Katie said, “Let’s do one like The Royal Tenenbaums” to which I responded “give me Margot and a falcon”. All Kevin needed was a red track suit and it would have been ON!! Here’s another fabulous couple for the 2015 AKP Dallas wedding photography line-up. I have to pinch myself sometimes that I have such wonderful couples. Their wedding will be next spring at The Ritz Carlton and we get to work with the ever-so-fabulous Rachel Derman and I am sure what will be an amazing team of wedding professionals! I am so pumped about your wedding next spring, guys. I had a blast getting to know you both and can’t wait until we get to play again! Wishing you all many years of love and laughter and may each day be better than the last!
