Today’s the day. I am able to share this beautiful Houston Anthropologie-inspired garden wedding with you. We photograph weddings mainly in Dallas, so when we get to travel and photograph new places, our shutter fingers get all excited and giddy for new adventures. We’ve been fortunate to travel to some pretty amazing locations, but Dallas is home and we have special place in our hearts for the Ol’ Big DFW … don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere any time soon!
Allison and Joel were married in Houston, Texas at the River Oaks Garden Club. When I first met Allison, I noticed her style and her grace. She was such a sweet person, but little did I know that girl could get down on the dance floor and could belt out Wilson-Phillips like nobody’s business! Joel is currently in seminary at DTS (Dallas Theological Seminary) and one of his great pals from DTS performed the heart-felt wedding ceremony. Allison’s brother served them communion and her Dad gave the funniest toast! It was such a wonderful day filled with love from all of their family and friends. The couple’s portraits are seriously some of my favorites. I just loved Allison’s dress and Joel looked great in his grey suit and black-rimmed glasses. He even had a REAL bow-tie for the wedding. The night ended with flower petals and lots of smiles. Thank you all for making us feel so welcome and letting us be a small part of your beautiful wedding celebration. We wish you a lifetime of love and laughter and may each day be better than the last!
