As soon as Nicole and Brian’s Dallas wedding came to an end last spring, she got on my radar for an anniversary portrait session. They were married last spring at the Dallas Arboretum and the reception was at the stunning Stoneleigh Hotel in uptown Dallas. I have photographed this sweet couple a few times and I feel very blessed to have such sweet clients I now call friends. Nicole was very brave for her bridal session before the wedding. She did an underwater bridal session with me….even in the Priscilla of Boston dress she’s wearing for this anniversary session. So the question is finally answered : “Will the dress be okay after we have an underwater session?” In this case, its a Big YES! The dress was still flawless. They chose the SMU campus because that’s where they went on their first date. Talking near the fountains, getting to know each other and being sweet. Nicole went to school there and Brian had no idea when he suggested they go strolling there on their first date. I had such a wonderful time seeing these two again and celebrating their first anniversary with them. I wish you both a lifetime of love and laughter and may each day be better than the last!! Can’t wait to hear what you’ve been up to for anniversary number TWO!
