This couple’s Dallas wedding is next year at the ever-so-amazing Hickory Street Annex and I am so honored to photograph their wedding! When a guy and a gal get engaged in Sonoma wine country, its pretty mandatory to incorporate that into their engagement portraits … I mean, c’mon … that’s some killer romance! I am pumped for you to meet Kendall and Keith. We talked about locations for their Dallas engagement portraits, but the wine and picnic ideas were all these guys. They busted out the cooler with cheese, wine, grapes and the picnic basket was oooh-la-la! I could’ve just stopped there with their engagement portraits and called it a day, but then we brought Scootch into the session and it pretty much exploded with cuteness. How do you get a dog to look at your camera interested with total attention? You put a cracker in your hand and dangle it above your lens, of course! After the park we made our way to the Arts District of Dallas to pose in front of the amazingly colorful mural at the Dallas Museum of Art. I could have stopped there because they were on fire! Every pose, every kiss, every snuggle … it was a great session. We made one last outfit change and headed over to my favorite ivy wall in downtown. I can’t wait to work with these guys again and see what their amazing wedding planner, Kimberly with Hitched Events has in store. It was a pleasure guys and I wish you both a lifetime of love and laughter. May each day be better than the last!
