This couple is set to have a beautiful winter wedding this year in the Dallas area. Meet Catherine and Emil. They are getting married at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in the heart of Dallas, Texas and their reception for their wedding will be at TCP – Craig Ranch. They met through mutual friends and she says they love to laugh. I mean, really laugh … I only sampled a couple of hours of their relationship and I couldn’t help from getting in on this laughing action. Emil sang us parts of Disney’s, Mulan, a few chords from the Muppets and even switched over to a British accent a few times. I was quite impressed with this couple’s repertoire. We met up at one of my favorite parks in Highland Park and the colors were so pretty … lots of green gorgeousness. Catherine mentioned loving to be outdoors and that she likes to go camping. I spotted a pathway down to the water and they were up for crossing rocks in the stream to get to the perfect spot. The light literally showered down on them. I would say that was the favorite part of the engagement session, but I have too many from the day. We left there and headed to the Arts District in Dallas where I saw the most magnificent light reflecting off of one of the downtown buildings … I mean, I gasped and my “high” voice came out. It was pretty spectacular. I had such a fun time getting to know these two and can’t wait to photograph their wedding this December in Dallas. I wish you both a lifetime of love and laughter and may each day be better than the last!
