This Dallas wedding photographer is excited to introduce you to Katy and Jon. They are getting married this year and their wedding will be on the other side of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex at Marty Leonard Chapel in Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Club. We are so excited to be photographing this sweet couple. They met with their guns up at Texas Tech and have been together since college. We are thrilled to be working with Sarabeth Events for their wedding. She always does a fantastic job and puts together amazing teams of wedding professionals for all of her wedding couples!
Their Dallas engagement portrait session was the first time for me to meet with Katy and Jon in person. We had been corresponding via phone and email for all of the wedding photography booking information. I shook hands with them and Jon says to me “I am not very good and taking pictures”. Digging a little deeper, he mentioned it was difficult to get a genuine smile for pictures. Well, when you have me on the other side of the camera cracking the corniest of corny jokes on the planet, I took this as a challenge and accepted it with open arms! Be prepared for lots of laughs and real genuine emotion from Katy and Jon in this session. We had a great time and they were troopers in the cooler weather.
