I first met Adria at a cute little coffee shop in Dallas were we talked about her wedding photography plans at The Tribute Golf Club in The Colony, Texas. I introduced them to you in this photography post of their North Dallas engagement session. This couple met in High School and shared their first kiss on-stage while they were both in theater. The cast of the wedding day was full of family and friends. Ian’s Scottish heritage really played a prominent role in this couple’s storybook wedding. The men were in traditional kilts and looking incredibly dapper. Adria’s off-the-shoulder wedding gown was stunning on her. The gals were in floor-length navy dresses and they all looked beautiful. They chose The Tribute for their wedding because its an amazing wedding venue, but also because of its true Scottish charm. The charming details of this wedding were so fun to photograph. They incorporated a knot tying in the ceremony … so they literally “tied the knot”! It was an overcast day and this set the stage for an amazing day for wedding photography…it was gorgeous diffused light for us all day. Just after the wedding ceremony, the skies decided to let go of all of that rain. It stayed clear just long enough for some amazing portraits with the wedding couple. They danced the night away at a fun wedding reception with all of their guests. We had a wonderful time getting to know this amazing couple. We wish you both a lifetime of love and laughter and may each day be better than the last!
