This engagement portrait session was the final session for 2013 for this Dallas Wedding Photographer. What a wonderful way to wrap for the year! Even though it was a bit cooler than my shutter finger would have liked, this engagement portrait session was filled with warm emotion and lots of love from Ashley and Aaron….and an adorable dog named Ollie. I first met Ashley and Aaron at Sublime Chocolate in Allen, Texas. If you haven’t ever been, drive there now…like, literally after you read this blog post, get in your car, on your bike, or in a bus and go. The chocolate there is ridiculous. If you can’t drive there, the website is above and they will ship yummy goodness to your house. The day we met, we talked about their upcoming wedding at The McKinney Cotton Mill, shared some amazing chocolate and chatted about our favorite things we watch and music we listen to. They are working with the ever-so-fabulous, Wendy Kidd with Each and Every Detail and I am stoked to work with her and her team of wedding professionals! For the engagement portraits, we made our way around the Cotton Mill looking for killer light … CHECK, we found it. We also incorporated an awesome sign Ashley made for their save-the-dates. Our final stop was a park north of Dallas in McKinney, where Aaron brought one of his toys out. He has an awesome 1973 orange Ford Bronco and it was the coolest prop I have been able to work with yet (besides Ollie). I am looking forward to photographing their upcoming wedding and hope I get to see Ollie again. That fur-baby sure would make a handsome ring bearer for the wedding … after all, he’s already wearing a tux!!
I had such an amazing time with you both and can’t wait to see you again. I wish you both a lifetime of love and laughter and may each day be better than the last!
