Katie & Josh’s Outdoor Ranch Wedding at Longhorn Ranch

It was a beautiful spring day near Dallas, Texas for this amazing ranch wedding at Longhorn Ranch in Anna, Texas. For this Dallas Wedding Photographer, it was perfection for a wedding day! The skies were clear and the emotions were high. Josh’s reaction to seeing Katie walking toward him for the wedding ceremony had me in tears behind the camera. It was fairy tale day for a wedding and we were happy to be a small part of it to help preserve the memories in the form of precious wedding photography. Katie wore a beautiful mermaid bridal gown and completed her look with some amazing boots! I was a fan for sure … afterall, sparkly is my favorite color. She carried a broach bouquet and wore amazing jewelry. You may remember this sweet couple from their engagement portrait session in Prosper, Texas. They brought along several hand-made goodies for the session. The handmade goodness definitely carried over into the wedding. They made signs, paintings, even a ring-barer pillow for Paisley, one of the most well-behaved dogs I have ever encountered. She’s part of the family and it was so fitting to have her be a part of it! They really let their personalities shine through in all of the wedding details. There were so many wonderful hand-touches and lots of heart that went into the planning of this beautiful wedding. Between the ring barer that I would have tried to smuggle out in my camera bag if it was large enough to the sweet chocolate lab, Paisley, we were nothing short of intensely inspired for this wedding. We were honored to be there for their wedding photography. Katie and Josh, we wish you both a lifetime of love and laughter and may each day be better than the last!
