Rayven and Alex’s Dallas Engagement Session

Meet my friend Rayven… a super talented gal that wears many hats. Makeup Artist Extraordinaire, Wedding Planner Guru, Creative Writer Genius, and Blogging Mayven….seriously. I think she might have super-powers! I first met Rayven when she was working at Texas Wedding Guide and was immediately drawn to this gal’s sense of style. I am pretty sure she goes to the gym looking cute. When she asked if I was available for her wedding date, I was so honored. I mean…I get to see and photograph so many cute things! Her wedding details will be crazy awesome and I am bursting with excitement to see them. We did her bridal portraits just a few days later in Dallas and ….. Errrrrrmahgerd, you are going to flip! It was so stinking unreal with awesomeness! Soupy goopy layers of awesome dripping from my CF cards after our session!

Meet Alex….he works in marketing and has some of the most gorgeous “boy eyes” I have ever seen in person. I think I actually said that as one of the first things that came out of my mouth….”Whoa, your eyes are a m a z i n g!”. Then he blushed and I may have made him nervous. Rayven and I are friends on Facebook and feel like I already know Alex from looking through their pictures together and seeing their adventures. The engagement session was the first meeting we had with both of them. Rayven shared her inspiration board with me on Pinterest and we started the planning for their session. This is such a great tool for sharing ideas with others for weddings! She got it set up to have their session at the Magnolia Hotel in Dallas. We made our way around the hotel then down into the streets of downtown to have some more fun with natural light. Enjoy this session with these two lovebirds!
