This year I am traveling more and more outside of Dallas for weddings and spending quite a bit of time in Fort Worth. Kevin and Elizabeth’s wedding was this past month in Fort Worth, Texas at the Historic Ashton Hotel. I particularly love the keys they provide to the hotel guests. You will see in this post, I had a little love affair with them….them, AND Elizabeth’s glittery Kate Spade bridal shoes. Yes, a girl after my own heart. My favorite color is sparkly after all! The two cute little ones you see throughout the night were adorable. I caught one about to swipe some wedding cake (I would not have stopped him.. just sayin’) and little M.E., well this little gal is super-sassy and I LIKED it. After the wedding ceremony, we only had a few minutes for pictures, so we darted outside, Margaret (the wedding coordinator) and the DJ stopped traffic for us and we were able to steal a few once in a lifetime moments. How often do you see an Air Force Colonel and his bride dancing in the middle of the street? The ballroom was was dripping with feminine touches and lots of crystals, roses and personal touches throughout. Margaret and her team did an excellent job transforming this space into Kevin and Elizabeth’s dream wedding. With the guest list spanning from a Secretary of State to Pediatricians, the guests of honor, were certainly surrounded by a great group of friends. It was certainly a pleasure to work with this couple throughout their wedding from their Fort Worth engagement session to Elizabeth’s gorgeous bridal portraits in downtown Fort Worth. I enjoyed every single visit with them. I wish you both a lifetime full of love and laughter and may each day be better than the last!
