Leigh was the winner for the underwater portrait giveaway we had on Facebook! She got the works….and we brought a dramatic fashion approach to this session!
What – Underwater Portraits (set aside at least 3 hours of your day. the underwater portion will be approximately 1 hour. up to 2 people for the session)
Where – just north of Dallas, Texas (if you are out of state, travel is up to you)

What you get :: A makeup artist and personal styling assistance for the entire shoot, 2 minute enhanced trailer of video footage during the shoot, 2 photographers shooting high resolution digital images, AND you are able to select 5 electronic files after your online gallery is posted (basic edits, printable up to 8×10)!
This session can be for a bride and groom, husband and wife, an expecting mom, a ballerina, a mother and child, or just for fun. Wow – seriously an awesome giveaway…..and GO!
We swapped a few ideas about the session and I gathered a few things about Leigh to create this underwater jukebox idea. I wanted to bring a retro element to the shoot. The vinyl records were a great touch and turns out Half Price Books has a ton of them! We loaded our basket full of this nostalgic treasure and tested them in the water. Another discovery….they don’t float. On to plan B to figure out how to make these sinkers buoyant.
Shannon with Something-you did AMAZING on the styling and helping throughout the day to keep Leigh looking camera ready. She even got in the pool with us! Gia worked the other camera brilliantly! After the marathon day, she hopped back into her wedding dress and posed a bit with her husband for some stunning wedding underwater images.
