Erin and James are two of my favorites. Their wedding was in Richardson, Texas. Its just outside of Dallas. The catholic ceremony was at one of the beautiful Churches in the area, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Erin found me a few years ago and getting to know her has been a pleasure. She’s kind, thoughtful and loves Sammy, my son – she gets an A+ in my book! Erin is a teacher with a heart as good as gold. When I heard the news she and James were engaged, I just knew he was a catch. Erin called and asked what my availability was for the month. Once we narrowed down a few dates, the wedding planning began and she did beautifully. The families treated us like we were part of them and they made us feel so special…thanks y’all! Erin and her bridesmaids got ready at her house in Garland…I love the way it feels when I arrive for a wedding at someone’s home. The feeling is so intimate and special. We met up with James at the Church and then they had a gorgeous full mass before the reception in Richardson.
I was able to see this Priest again. I photographed a wedding he officiated a couple of years ago and it was great seeing him again during James and Erin’s wedding.
They high-fived just before kissing her in the above photo…it was awesome! We spent some time around St. Joseph’s for a few romanti/fun wedding portraits. Stay tuned for the reception. Their wedding was complete with a scene inspired from Dirty Dancing….let’s say they had the time of their lives! 😉
