Here is part2 of Lee + Stephanie’s wedding (part1 is HERE). We were at a few places for pictures on their wedding day, so be sure to stop by the blog to see part3, its another location as well! Our first stop was Carrollton First Baptist Church to get them married, then we went over to the Family Center at the Church to have a reception, THEN we were able to go to the Las Colinas Canals on the way to the reception to take some fun bridal party pictures! THIS WAS THE HOTTEST DAY IN AUGUST, but everyone still looks gorgeous. I was a hot mess behind the camera, but nobody was taking pictures of me except for Andrew

For those of you stalking my blog looking for your sneak peeks….they are on the way! This week is going to be crazy blog post week
We started their session at the Dallas Arboretum and then hit two spots they made it to on their first date. The lamp post in the last image just makes me all mushy when I look at it. I was privy to a little bit of the story behind it. Brandi and Holman are so in love and it is written all over them! I seriously got goosebumps hearing their story. I might have cried a little bit too! I am a sucker for lovey-dovey sappy stories 
I have to make sure to keep it together for their wedding this weekend. I need to be able to see the images I am taking! Brandi has THE MOST CONTAGIOUS SMILE! You were briefly introduced to Hailey + Kyle here, and now the time has come to bust out their super awesome eSession. Hailey + Kyle are getting married in January after a NINE year courtship! Wow! We started off shooting at the gorgeous SMU campus after trekking over from the Dallas Arboretum (note to self : they do not open until 9am!). After we got hot and steamy at SMU we made our way back to the Arboretum to finish our session. I love Hailey’s red heels and Kyle’s hat makes me want to sing country music! If you know me, you know I am constantly messing with my iPhone, so any chance I get to incorporate them into my work, I DO! megan + jared | WEDDING pt3

it’s time to party with megan + jared and just in case you missed the first two parts of this love story, you can find them right here { part1 & part2 }. I loved this wedding in all of its southern charm glory! I was completing the formal pictures with the couple when Jeremy headed over to the Greenery in Waxahachie, TX. This was where we did part of megan’s bridals. Jeremy caught all of these gorgeous detail shots while I was RIDING A FIRETRUCK!!! What??? that’s one of the many perks of this job!
About this firetruck – I had to wear a seatbelt (safety first, right?) and got to sit in the front seat. Directly in front of me where these two HUGE temptations…buttons labeled, “SIREN” & “SIREN BREAK”. It was pretty loud during our ride and when I asked if I could push it (probably 10 times) I wasn’t getting a response. I kept taking pictures of it hoping it was push itself! My requests turned into, “I am about to push this” (probably said that a few times too) then finally to “I AM PUSHING THIS!!!” – that’s right, I got to sound the siren just as we pulled into the reception site! WHAT AN ENTRANCE!!! We took a few more pictures with the truck and headed in to dance away the night.
Kirk with ProDJ Entertainment worked the music and we partied all night!

megan + jared | WEDDING pt2

let’s get megan + jared married now….(pt ONE was on the blog just a little bit ago). the ceremony location was a historic landmark in Waxahachie, Texas – Bethel Methodist Church and this Church was beautiful. I just love it when my couples get married in older venues, the history is so strong you can smell it when you walk into the room (not a bad smell, a history smell – sounds bad, smells good!). The one not so fun thing about older venues in Texas Summers, is the lack of super-modern conveinences (AIR CONDITIONING!). this Church did have air conditioning, but it was certainly not built with it. megan + jared thought ahead on this one, not only did they have the gorgeous stained glass windows cracked for a bit of a breeze through, but they also had their programs for the ceremony printed on fans! How cute is that??? lastly, funniest Pastor yet! I walked in to talk with him before the ceremony and he was digging into a package of breath strips, it was so cute because the colors all went so well together, AND HE HAD FRESH BREATH TO BOOT! I talked to him for a few minutes and reminded him to smile during the kiss because he would be in the photos…..you be the judge if he paid attention to this tip
