Rebecca and Matthew’s wedding was April 24th at Old Red Courthouse in Downtown Dallas. I was still recovering from my appendectomy just days before and was not the photographer that shot their wedding, but Allison Davis did a fantastic job helping me out and stepping up as a great friend when I needed it the most. Here’s a sneak peek from the wedding files I JUST picked up from her. More to come…she did an incredible job!
Peyton and Chris said “I do” during their wedding amongst some of the greatest works our world has seen at the Dallas Museum of Art. Watching the two of them together was just AS breathtaking. Chris looks at Peyton and it makes you FEEL his love for her….really feel it! Enjoy the wedding ceremony and formals as I cook up the reception for you munch on. Again, its something HOT; you will want to come back for seconds! For those wanting to feast on the appetizer, here’s part 1

Peyton and Chris got married at the Dallas Museum of Art, in Dallas 
It was such a beautiful wedding. Originally scheduled for the sculpture gardens, however the October rain in Texas had other plans for them. I had been a member of the Dallas Museum of Art for a long time and have always wanted to shoot there. The first time I met with Peyton and Chris, they started to talk about how he proposed and what plans they had for their wedding. They are both architects, and had a very “planned” idea about how they envisioned their wedding. I was bursting on the inside listening to their wedding plans. From the location of the DMA to the custom tailored suits Chris and the guys would be wearing. I was so thrilled to be the photographer to tell the story of their wedding day!
So back to the rain….because the rain decided to rain on our parade, plans changed for the party, but Peyton still brought all the FIERCE to her wedding :: she is HOT! This bouquet is seriously one of the most gorgeous things :: orchids, HELLO! And Peyton’s wedding dress, could it be any more perfect for her? Oh, and the wedding rings….the rings! I don’t have words, just look for yourself. Part two of this wedding will be full of the closest ceremony pictures ever (there was NO aisle, so I was behind the officiant trying to be as discreet as possible) a mini-couple session with Peyton and Chris being so in love with each other and just more hotness! Meet Julie.
Meet Mark.
Together they are Julie + Mark = totally awesome!!! They met at K-State and have been inseparable ever since. This is the fabulous couple that ran through a fountain for me. It was totally worth it :: the ring shot is KILLER!
Claire contacted me and asked if I did one-on-one sessions with photographers. We soon began emailing back and forth and set up our ROCK WITH ME SESSION! We talked about posing, lighting, camera settings, & several other things. OH, and I showed her how lose camera equipment! I left light stands on this shoot downtown and then went back to get them and they were gone

And meet Claire….I couldn’t resist taking pictures of her. Isn’t she fun??? We actually planned this to show her how quickly you need to engage your subject and we talked about posing as well. She’s an old pro at posing, so she knew the drill. AND she now gets to sport a cool new image in her bio section of her webpage 
A few weeks ago….OK, more than a month ago Miami Marketing Group :: MMG hosted a BIG party at Studios 1019 in Dallas for Absolut. I was the lucky photographer that was able to document the occasion thanks to John Livas for the referral! Last night was my last wedding of 2009. Congrats to Sarah + Chase!
Karen + Gary were married in September in Allen, Texas and then we went over to a little piece of Dallas, TEXAS history known as Southfork Ranch . You won’t want to miss out on the next parts of this wedding. We had a tremendous time getting these folks to open up (insert sarcasm here! - They were just so camera shy! ) Karen is a dancer and all of her bridesmaids are as well (her sister says she isn’t, but I saw her on the dance floor!). Gary and all of his groomsmen were fun group of guys also! During our formal pictures I was telling Gary how awesome his hair was and one of the groomsmen piped up, “He’s about to get married, back off!” Karen + Gary wanted to see each other before the ceremony and it was so relaxed and wonderful for them to have some great portraits beforehand. We did a FIRST and SECOND first look (one staged outside so we could have some wonderful natural light). Enjoy these images from their special day. For the past two months several wedding vendors have been getting together for a little happy hour fun. Kelly Simants from Sweet Pea Events puts together this fun-filled evening and dubs it “Thursday Therapy”. So far the photographers in Dallas definitely take over this event, so all you other wedding folks need to make it out to the next Thursday Therapy! We are having a blast and would love to meet you too! In the meantime, check out what you have been missing
A few weeks ago we did our ROCKIN’ Family Mini-Sessions :: they ROCKED!!! It was so fun to shoot so many families in the same day at the same location and get stuff that was so different. Thanks to the Columbus Family, The McManus Family, The Cabaniss Family, & The Haar Family - YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

Here is part2 of Lee + Stephanie’s wedding (part1 is HERE). We were at a few places for pictures on their wedding day, so be sure to stop by the blog to see part3, its another location as well! Our first stop was Carrollton First Baptist Church to get them married, then we went over to the Family Center at the Church to have a reception, THEN we were able to go to the Las Colinas Canals on the way to the reception to take some fun bridal party pictures! THIS WAS THE HOTTEST DAY IN AUGUST, but everyone still looks gorgeous. I was a hot mess behind the camera, but nobody was taking pictures of me except for Andrew . We started their session at the Dallas Arboretum and then hit two spots they made it to on their first date. The lamp post in the last image just makes me all mushy when I look at it. I was privy to a little bit of the story behind it. Brandi and Holman are so in love and it is written all over them! I seriously got goosebumps hearing their story. I might have cried a little bit too! I am a sucker for lovey-dovey sappy stories I have to make sure to keep it together for their wedding this weekend. I need to be able to see the images I am taking! Brandi has THE MOST CONTAGIOUS SMILE! I just cant help but smile when I look at these images.
