I usually post sneak peek photographs and teasers on my facebook page, but Leslie and Aaron’s engagement session was interrupted a few weeks ago by a torrential down pour that was scheduled for several hours after our session was supposed to end. We went our separate ways that rainy Saturday. The bizarre thing was that 5 miles outside of Dallas, the rain stopped and I chased rainbows all the way home. We met back up for the second part of their fun filled engagement session in Bishop Arts District in Dallas. Aaron asked me what I thought about the location and I thought it felt relaxed, urban and fun. Leslie agreed and then we started walking looking for things that caught our eye. We found a soda shop and I couldn’t help but ask them to go in. As I was photographing their session, I couldn’t help but feel like I was shooting stills for a movie. I really enjoyed spending time with these two and I am so excited about their wedding this fall.

I am so excited to have shared this cute soda shop with them. All of the sodas are color coded and they even have old fashioned red straws that are twice the size of the bottles in true old timey soda shop fashion. This place is a new concept with a traditional feel. I feel that way about my images.
