Its a Monday and my phone rings….”We’re getting married this Friday. We are having a small intimate Dallas wedding at our home. Are you available to photograph our wedding followed by a few portraits at a near-by park?”
Meg and Josh were married on a Friday morning in an intimate wedding ceremony at their home surrounded by their friends and family. I arrived to their home to find the walls of their home lived in. To see they were surrounded by family and friends and to see two sweet faces that call Meg and Josh “Mommy and Daddy”…. It was a day filled with so much love. I readily admit I was crying during their vows as was everyone else in the room. I readily admit, my heart pretty much exploded when their youngest child stepped up during the ceremony and buried himself in Josh for the biggest hug. I’m a sap … I live for this stuff. I get emotional documenting these moments for my clients. This life stuff is good and I am so fortunate to get to preserve these precious memories for others. After we all dried our tears, we made our way over to a near-by park for some family portraits and some portraits with just the two of them. Meg is a family and baby photographer in Dallas. She’s used the routine and was a pro on the other side of the camera. It was such a special day. Thank you both for allowing me to be a small part of such a giant wedding celebration. I wish you both a lifetime of love and laughter and may each day be better than the last! LOVE WINS!!
