Wow….there are so many images to post from this gorgeous wedding but I am not sure if I have subscribed enough bandwidth to handle the downloads – SERIOUSLY!!! It was super spectacular! Jeremy and Ashley helped me capture this wedding with such grace – extra shirts and all!

Megan and Jared were married in Waxahachie on 6-20 and I was honored to be a part of such a joyous occasion. Absolutely everything had so much southern charm to it. From Megan’s gorgeous dress (and being gorgeous herself) all the way to the bridesmaid dresses…man, I wish all my dresses had pockets in them! Lucky Me! has featured us on their blog! How awesome is that?!? It is a blog about all things wedding. You should totally go check them out – the site is filled with unique wedding ideas and they tweet too, just like me {my twitter site}. I little tweet here, and a little tweet there….and a few tweets later, I was on the blog! Go check it out – it’s tamra + tyler’s story. If it made you cry the first time, you better pack your Kleenex, its a repeat offender!

Heath & Michelle have no shortage of fun friends and they were all at their wedding to celebrate. You saw the ceremony already in part I.

For the formals we had to deal with lighting limitations for the guy’s formals, but we worked it out and headed over to the reception shortly after. Their cake was one of the coolest cakes I have ever seen. It had words in it! If you look closely you can actually read the word “forever”….pretty slick! The Surrey House was the historic home where Michelle and Heath were pronounced husband and wife. This house is full of southern charm. I was in amazement how beautifully they restored the venue, but managed to keep the feel and remain true to the historic decor’. The dance floor (room) was insanely small for all the folks and running through the floor plan to catch all the action was an adventure! Michelle and Heath said “I do” at The Surrey House & Gardens on May 23rd and it was so heart-felt. The historic home was gorgeous and all of the details made it super-fab with southern charm. I loved the whole day. Michelle and Heath have been together for a long time and she LOVES to scrapbook, so what better way for Heath to propose than to make her a scrapbook and the very last page said “will you marry me” and the ring was placed inside the page…..oh, it was so special. These two are also super-duper fun! I took a new spin on a ring shot! I think it really shows off the pair’s personality!

Michelle’s dress was G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!!! The detail of the dress was so incredible. When we took her bridal portraits, she got so many compliments from the guests at the arboretum…people actually stopped her to talk to her about the dress! It was that FAB!!

The bridal party was just as much fun – yes, we did take some more formal portraits, but without my direction, each of the girls stood with Michelle and did something fun! The last shot was a Spartan Cheerleader inspired one….ok, so I might have suggested that one! “Who’s that peepin’ through my teepee?  it’s me, it’s me!”

Michelle and Heath wrote their own vows and I should have worn waterproof mascara….it was so SWEET!!!
